Accelerating private sector decade of action, delivery and recovery through SDGs in Kenya
The State Department for Planning through the SDGs Coordination Directorate, in collaboration with Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) and the UN lead by United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office (UNRC) organized for a half day virtual meeting for the Private Sector engagement on, “Enhancing the role of the private sector in the implementation and reporting of the SDGs during the Decade of Action’’. The meeting was attended by representatives from National Government MDAs, Council of Governors, County Governments, Parliamentary Caucus on SDGs and Business, UN Agencies, Civil Society Organizations, Private Sector and Academia. During the meeting the Economic Planning Secretary gave opening remarks and the Principal Secretary, State Department for Planning made opening remarks and gave statement on Government Commitment in supporting acceleration of the Private Sector Decade of Action, Delivery and Recovery through SDGs in Kenya.
