Public Participation
Achieving the broadest conceivable awareness about the SDGs among stakeholders that includes the voices of the most vulnerable populations is a crucial first step in SDGs localization. The constitution requires public participation in key decision-making processes. This creates a transparent, enabling and all-inclusive environment in the implementation of SDGs where all stakeholders including residents, are involved in identification, prioritization and implementation of development projects aligned to the sustainable development goals.
